AutoCAD – Selecting Objects, selection cycling, snapping to objects, snap cycling

AutoCAD-Selecting-Objects

The less clicks you do in any CAD software, the more efficient you must be working. I’m going to show you how to be quicker, how to make it easier and therefore be more efficient when selecting objects.

I will show you how to select all the objects of a particular size, all the small text to make it bigger for example, or all the circles of a particular size to work on those etc.

When working in AutoCAD you need to snap accurately to endpoints, midpoints etc. How often does it snap to the wrong point when working? I will show you how to cycle round the alternative snap points when there are multiple options for the current snap settings.
